I will be honest with you, I have not always been organized. I have been a messy teenager like everyone else.

My life changed when I had kids 16 years ago. With my daughter around I needed to not have stuff laying around everywhere, but I became really organized when my son was about 2 years old and he was one of those kids who opened every drawer and cupboard he could reach. So I started to think about more what I kept in my cupboards and really just kept what I actually needed. It also was easier to find things when you are in a hurry or kids waiting for you. Ever since then I have found systems to make my life easier, I really hate searching for that one item for hours, ending up buying it new and then finding it the next day.

I really believe in the philosophy: “A place for everything and everything in its place.”
